Coreshooter "TM 40 - R"

The operating cycle is automatic single .
This type of coreshooter can work with the following types of core boxes :
- two parts vertical split,
- three parts, two vertical split plus one bottom third part.
All the movements of the core box are obtained by hydraulic controls .
The two main parts of the core box are mounted on two supprting frames, one rear and one in the front .
The rear frame with the rear half core box, moved by a hydraulic cylinder is positioned hydraulically on the basis of the size of the core box and once positioned remain fixed in that position during the automatic cycle.
A linear encoder measures the position and allows it to be stored.
The front frame with the front half core box instead performs two movements during the automatic cycle , and more precisely :
-1 linear movement of the front half core box,
-2 Closing and opening of the core box by an hydraulic movement with mechanical levers.
Each frame is also equipped with four hydraulic clamps for the locking of the core box that, however, must be equipped with a plate with uniform dimensions.
The lower part of the machine is moved by a pair of hydraulic cylinders and is also controlled by a linear transducer that transmits the position to the control panel .
Even the extractor for the expulsion of hardened cores is controlled in the same way ( hydraulic cylinder and transducer position control ) .
The upper part of the machine ( tank , shooting head, etc. . ) Is movable and is controlled by a pair of hydraulic cylinders .
The feed hopper is equipped with an electric vibrator .
The gassing plate is mounted on a carriage which in the front part also incorporates the two scrapers for the cleaning of the blowing head and the upper part of the core box.
The machine is delivered with a shooting head with interchangeable inserts .
The blowing head is mounted on two -way wheels that allow the operator to easily remove it from the shooting position for cleaning operations .
The coreshooter is complete with :
- Hydraulic control unit with variable capacity pump, alarm thermostat, alarm of oil filter dirty , air/oil heat exchanger, oil level switch control, oil visual level indicator and hydraulic equipment and components on board.
- Electric control panel with the Programmable Logic Controller ( PLC Siemens S7 ), with push button mounted on the front door .

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS OF THE GUARDING CABINET:
This equipment enclose the whole machine while protecting the operator from the standpoint of accident protection and at the same time provides the ability to maintain continuous depression in the entire machine by connecting to a suction system (not supplied) .
The closure is supplied complete with :
- Full perimeter panels , double door with pneumatic control on the operator side , controlled by limit switches and safety related control units , other doors always controlled by limit switches and safety related control units arranged on the perimeter of the closure allow access for maintenance.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE OPERATOR INTERFACE "OP 277 " OR SIMILAR MODELS AND IT'S OWN SOFTWARE:
The use of this operating unit and the software allows , by virtue of its high potential , to obtain operational advantages translatable into practice in a more simple and instinctive way of work, in addition to a graphical display in full color that helps the employees in the many activities connected to the machine .
The main advantages may be thus briefly summarized :
- Ability to store at least 400 codes core box with its policy prescriptions , loading directly with their "name" or opcode
- Display with multifunction buttons for direct activation (F1 , F2, etc. ..) with color graphics of great help to the operator during the execution of both manual operation , with its interlocks , that during the automatic cycle .
- Simplification of recipe management in the planning stage , or inserting new recipes  and loading of existing recipes resident in memory.
- Ability to dialogue and exchange data with external devices through additional port designed for this.
